1. Does this unit require any external ducting?

No. It is a fully self-contained recirculating unit. It filters contaminated air drawn through an arm and returns clean air directly into the room. No roof exhaust or ductwork is needed.

2. How often does the cartridge need replacing?

Typically every 12–18 months under normal intermittent use. The automatic pulse cleaning extends its life dramatically. Replacement takes about 10 minutes via a top access panel.

3. Can I use it without compressed air?

It is not recommended. Without compressed air, the pulse cleaning system cannot function, causing a rapid drop in airflow. A small shop compressor is sufficient.

4. Is it safe to recirculate cleaned air in a hot climate?

Yes. The filtered air is free of hazardous particles and can be returned indoors, preserving air-conditioned or evaporative-cooled air. This saves significant energy.

5. Can I use it for aluminum grinding?
